Konqueror image galleries...

On your Linux BOX, open the beloved KDE...
open any images folder in Konqueror...
Click on Tools -> Create Image Gallery...

You can specify colors, fonts,... etc in the dialog that appears.
Click on OK to get a one touch gallery for your images...

You can title your images in the gallery by writing a comment file in the folder where your images reside as follows...

1. On the images folder open a terminal...
2. write the command ls > comments. A new file is created containing the names of image files.
3. open the file 'comments' in kwrite and write your comments under every image. Don't forget to add (:) after every file name..

The file should look like this...
image1.jpg:
My comments for this image.
image2.jpg:
My comments for that image.
...

;)

TIP:
make the html file name in 'Save to:' field = index.html.
Then in Konqueror check: View -> Use index.html
and every time you open the images folder with Konqueror, you get your gallery opened automatically...
